Overview
Our Thioglycolic Acid is an organic acid with the chemical formula c2h4o2s. Toxic, colorless and transparent liquid with strong pungent smell. Miscible with water, miscible with ethanol, ether and common solvents. Mercaptoacetic acid oxidizes rapidly in the air, burns with open fire and high heat energy, and releases highly toxic hydrogen sulfide gas. It is a secondary organic acid corrosive substance.
Our Thioglycolic Acid is used to make epoxy resin and bisphenol a catalyst. It is the main raw material of daily cosmetics, cold ironing essence and depilatory agent. It can also be used for the processing of PVC water supply pipeline, water pump and other products, food packaging and equipment pipeline of food processing plant. Mercaptoacetic acid is also a sensitive reagent for the determination of iron, molybdenum, lead and tin.
